Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is in the news again as a new film, The Social Reckoning, reaches cinemas and streamers. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film recreates her choice to bring hidden documents to light.

Haugen spoke to journalists she has "extreme worry" about a change in direction at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is taking dangerous risks with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to inspire more whistleblowers.
