A YouTuber has lost their entire channel of 190,000 subscribers after posting gameplay footage from the new horror game Hellraiser: Revival. YouTube handed down a lifetime ban despite the creator having censored nudity in the video. The creator said the decision wiped out a decade of content.
The ban looks linked to the game's extreme gore rather than nudity alone. Hellraiser: Revival has attracted scrutiny over disturbing imagery that goes further than what YouTube's content policies will permit, even when creators make an effort to clean up the video before uploading.
